Dust has a singular but important use, to upgrade Trinkets to a higher level. Dust is obtained from Dust Capsules and from reclaiming old Trinkets.
The amount of dust obtained from reclaiming Dust Capsules is as follows:

Reclaiming Old Trinkets[]
Reclaiming old trinkets (higher than Level 1) returns 40% of the total dust used on that trinket. The table below shows the amount of dust returned. VIP levels will add +2% per level.
