The Cult of Stone is a hostile faction appearing in the Golem of the Ruins event. It is the third group to fight in the campaign.
Roster[edit | edit source]
- Stone Guardians: two of them are placed in the melee row. They use mostly group spells.
- Stone Brawlers: two of them are placed in the ranged row. They have better stats and use more offensive spells.
Tips and strategies[edit | edit source]
The Cult offers a tough battle. With a group of only warriors, the Cult will take quite a while to bring down. These soldiers also have decent speed and stats, which means that an attrition war is very likely. The arrangement of the enemies is very good. The more offensive and stronger warriors are put in the ranged row, who has higher speed, strike more often and enjoy the protection from melee attacks. Their comrades in the front have the same health and stamina, who tank most of the damage, making this battle difficult.
The key to winning this battle is to focus on one character with your entire team. The warriors have so high health that the less of them stands, the less chance they have to deal damage. Stuns do not work really well since the opposition has high speed and they get turns after one another, barely having any effect on their progress.
In the long term, you should use as much melee resistance as possible on your team. Vile Insult is mandatory, as well as Defensive Aura, Frost Armor and Avoidance can mitigate incoming damage. Have your assassins powered up with Setup and the mages use low-energy but high-damage spells.
